Brought up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Mara's perfumery journey was gradual, beginning as an early appreciation for scents worn by those around her, and eventually evolving into a keen fascination fed by online research about the sector. "I felt so far away from the perfumery world that I didn't have time to lose", notes Mara, elaborating:"I needed to do everything as soon as possible to give myself the best possible chance." With that, equipped with a distant dream, Mara made perfumery her sole purpose, ultimately making the move to France. Mara's admiration for the profession persists all these years later: "It's an art that doesn't have a form, and which develops through time", favouring personal care as she can exercise creative freedom to develop a range of olfactive identities.

Energised by her past-time as a qualified pastry chef, Mara finds inspiration in the diverse flavours and scents when baking her signature: delicious tarts. Delicacies of all kinds permeate Mara's fragrance palette, as she reaches regularly for cardamom and relishes the smell of fresh ground coffee, mixed with orange juice. Possessing a joyful temperament and thoughtful sensitivity, Mara's generous personality and Latina flair translate into her designs, each of which requires a degree of experimentation to generate sensations and emotions.

For Mara, creation goes much further than one might expect: "Not only is it fun to create new fragrances, I love the surprise involved when people smell them - it's about those people we will touch and move with our creations."

Born and raised in Grasse, Isabelle was always familiar with the perfumery profession, albeit only in the fine fragrance realm. "I associate my childhood with the smell of syringa lilac", comments Isabelle, who is reminded of time spent in her grandmother's garden as a child, in which there was a pergola covered with syringa. Following a summer job in a perfume house organising visits, Isabelle's eyes were opened to the fragrance universe.

Isabelle attended the Givaudan perfumery school located in Grasse, following her chemistry studies and three years in the working world. Now a specialist in personal care, Isabelle's imagination is stirred by the natural environment, natural energies and more generally, a love of green raw materials that is widely recognised by the evaluators she works with. Equally, Isabelle relates perfumery to her painting passion, noting that "there are unlimited and often surprising possibilities when blending colours or ingredients - I often also talk about fragrance in textural terms." Aside from syringa lilac, Isabelle cherishes scents associated with gardening, reminiscent of time spent partaking in this pastime with her parents, from the smells of tomato and olive to green beans and lily of the valley.

Above all, Isabelle treasures bergamot, redolent of a cologne that her grandmother would splash on Isabelle as a child post-shower as a mark of the utmost cleanliness. When it comes to formulation, Isabelle approaches design in a classical way while making sure to add a little twist to each of her creations: "I like to combine new scents with those that are familiar and comforting; it brings me joy to know that my fragrances will be used in a bathroom somewhere, hopefully bringing pleasure, serenity and a moment of quiet to whoever uses it."
